Cirque Du Soleil

Day 23

Last night we went to the Bellagio Casino to watch Cirque du Soleil “O “- a continuous visual montage that combined circus acts, acrobatics, fire dancers, contortionists, synchronized swimming and high diving. The centerpiece of the production is a 25ft deep pool. Sometimes a stage came up through the water for the performance and other times it disappears to allow divers coming from the extremely high ceilings. There is so much happening at once it is hard to follow everything. It is a brilliant show that I would recommend if you get the chance to see it – go!! The photo attached is the ceiling of the theatre where an acrobat comes down from and the other is of the theatre before showtime as we could not take photos during the show.

Today after breakfast we booked into the spa for a massage which included sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. It was extremely relaxing and we followed that by a swim and a lay around the pool. We then headed off to walk the entire length of the strip to the Stratosphere. With the temperature at 38⁰C it was a 3 stop refreshment trip - Corona, Corona, Corona. We walked for 5 hours and have just returned to our room.

We've also found that this is the home of the micro mini, to the point that you can often see their underwear.  Ian loves it.

The only place in the hotel we can get wi-fi is at Krispykreme which always means donuts and coffee - they are so nice (so Ian tells me)

  1. The show looks amazing!! Those ladies aren't young, not saying they have bad bodies, but isn't it time to dress a little more modestly?????
